Secure EDI Achieves PCI DSS Compliance. Security Designation Protects Cardholder Payments.
Secure EDI, a healthcare information technology company, has met industry standards for processing sensitive financial information through debit, credit, prepaid and ATM transactions with accreditation under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).
A PCI DSS accreditation provides assurance that a company has measures in place to protect sensitive data during electronic transmissions and transactions. Leading financial services companies, including American Express, Discover Financial Services, JCB International, MasterCard Worldwide and Visa Inc., serve as a PCI DSS advisory council.
Secure EDI’s accreditation was achieved through completion of a self-assessment process provided through Trustwave’s TrustKeeper portal. Trustwave is a leading provider of global financial security solutions.
